Beauty and the Beast (1991)- Gary Trousdale, Kirk Wise
I had no idea that Beauty and the Beast was the first movie I watched in a cinema until late in drafting the 30 Day Movie Challenge. Now it makes sense why this is my favorite movie from childhood and my favorite animated movie. No wonder I’ve watched it a dozen times. No wonder I always identified with the Beast growing up. He was my first big screen experience with a male protagonist. Beauty and the Beast has been forever lodged into my subconscious. Too funny. Great way to end the challenge.
