Life of Pi- FFR

Life of Pi (2003)- Yann Martel

Verdict: Read it!

Follow the story of 16 year old Pi PateI, who grows up in India, follows multiple faiths, and eventually, after attempting to move to Canada with his family and family’s zoo, gets trapped on a life boat with an orangutang, a zebra, a hyena, and a bengal tiger. I’ll make this one really quick—unless you have a problem with fiction, or work that is sympathetic toward various faiths, or both, you should read this book. If you follow Fast Food Blogging, Life of Pi encapsulates every single “quality of life”. It’s well written, powerful, and asks big questions in imaginative ways. Yes, even popular books can be great. Read it!
