The Tiger (2010)- John Vaillant
Verdict: Read It!
Thoughts: This has become one of my favorite books. I do not read non-fiction often, so I’m a bit out of loop on what’s constitutes high or low quality non-fiction. At the same time I know it was on the top of many best of 2010 lists. My guess is this is some of the best non-fiction in print. If you like tigers, vengeance, history, legend, or just a great story, then read it. If you don’t like any of those, still read it. By the time you are finished with The Tiger, you will.
