Django: Unchained (2012)- Quentin Tarantino
Verdict: Watch it!
Django: Unchained is Quentin Tarantino’s Moonrise Kingdom. That’s not to say the two films are similar in any obvious way. Instead like Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino has finally made a more predictable movie where you really care about his characters. In other words, Django is his most crowd pleasing film, and that makes it one of his best. See it for the over the top action, zany satirical humor, and obscure film nods, but most of all, see it because its something that will really stick with you. It’s easily one of the best films of last year. Watch it!
